What To Expect

Your evening starts when your guide meets you at your hotel in the early evening. Take public transportation to downtown and walk a few minutes to reach Sofitel So Bangkok, a luxury hotel designed by renowned French fashion designer Christian Lacroix.

Inside Sofitel So Bangkok, take a table in the chic Park Society Bar. Sip a cocktail and hear from your guide about Bangkok’s cuisine and nightlife. Then head to your next destination to enjoy a meal that features a variety of delicious Thai dishes. Choose to have dinner at either a local street food eatery where some of the city’s best food offerings are served up in unassuming surroundings, or at Somtum Der, a popular restaurant that offers authentic cuisine in a colorful air-conditioned space. Your guide can explain the dishes and assist with ordering, facilitating an authentic experience of Thailand's renowned cuisine.

Afterward, hop aboard the Skytrain (BTS), Bangkok’s efficient and air-conditioned elevated rail transport, and zip over to the Chao Phraya River. Transfer to a ferry for a 10-minute ride that provides amazing views of twinkling temples and riverboats on the riverside.

Disembark at Asiatique, a popular night market with more than 1,500 vendors that sell clothing, jewelry, electronics, handicrafts and more. This open-air shopping bazaar stretches along a 985-foot (300-meter) long boardwalk on the river.

After you get oriented at Asiatique, your guide says farewell to end your 5-hour tour. Enjoy shopping or taking in a show at your leisure, then make your own way back to your hotel. Transportation options are widely available from Asiatique.

This ended up being a private tour for our small party of two. Noom was a phenomenal tour guide and gave us great insights into where the locals wine and dine. We did this tour on our first night in Bangkok and I'm so glad we did! This tour really gave us a great intro to the layout of the city as well as how to best get around. Noom also negotiated a fair price for us on a tuktuk that dropped us off right at our hotel door. Dinner was phenomenal and at a great local restaurant where there was no a shortage of food. The rooftop drinks were great and the view of the city was amazing! I highly recommend this tour if this is your first visit to BKK.

This was a fantastic walking tour around Bangkok. Tony, our guide was a vibrant and outgoing young man. We really enjoyed our tour, visiting places we hadn't seen before. We had the best fish cakes that we have ever tasted and I found my new favourite handbag store in Asiatique Markets. This tour is certainly well worth doing if you only have a few days in Bangkok.

Our guide Yui was amazing, we had a Mai Tai overlooking Bangkok from the Sofitel, navigated the ferry, skyrail and motorbike taxis, and finished with a trip to Asiatique which was an experience even in the rain. Meal was authentically Thai and the whole evening was wonderful. Highly recommended

Great information about getting around the city, plus amazing food, great conversation with our guide, and an unmatched view to end the evening. Definitely worth the cost for an introduction to Bangkok!

My daughter 22 and I signed up for this tour the first night we were in Bangkok and it was worth it. The guide, Saran, really showed us Bangkok - how to use the subways/skytrains, different areas for nightlife, how to pick street food and shopping. He was able to answer every question asked and provided a lot of info that was outside of what you get in a travel book. This was definitley the right thing to do to put my daughter at ease for her first time outside the US. It is important to contact the company for the meeting time because the meeting time was different than Viator advertised. I was initially put off by this because I thought we were losing an hour of the tour. This was a foolish thought. With traffic density, if we had started an hour earlier, we would have spent an hour on crowded subways and sitting in traffic which would have taken away from the experience. Starting at 6pm instead of 5pm was perfect. Everything was fun and new and exciting and at the perfect pace.

This was a very fast paced tour and even though it was private we did not feel we got to take the time to really enjoy Bangkok for what it was. The tour overall was a great concept and met expectations but for the price we were disappointed it did not exceed.

My guide was great, He was very attentive and explained everything to me about the area, a little about the neighborhoods and transportation. The restaurant included in the tour is one that is on the Michelin list from 2019 to 2022, and the beginning From the tour, the first stop is a bar in a 5 star hotel with great views of Bangkok and great service.
